Tooth-Colored Metal Free Fillings
Unsightly metal fillings can make an otherwise perfect set of teeth look unattractive. Toooth colored, metal free fillings are
quickly becoming a choice of care for most of our patients because they make teeth look truly natural when they laugh,
talk and smile. White fillings also called composite fillings. They are made from tooth-colored materials that restore
the natural appearance of decayed tooth.
The best part of having a white filling is that it requires a single visit
only where the tooth gets both prepared and restored. The advantage of white fillings is that they require a much more
conservative preparation of the tooth therefore preserving most of the healthy structure. Remember that when you
look at amalgam filling all you see is tremendous amount of silver compared to normal looking white composite filled
tooth.
